The results were judged unsatisfactory by the band and so was scrapped in favor of writing the album Metal . Manilla Road has been a favorite of mine since the early 80's. Mark Shelton is a great songwriter, guitarist, and has a very unique voice for heavy metal. It's hard to believe that this lost treasure was never released previously, as this disc contains some of their strongest material.
